In Pale near Srebrenica, construction has begun today on a conference hall within the “House of Encounters” center, a project jointly developed by the “House of Good Tones” Foundation, the International Forum “Emmaus,” and the “Hilti” Foundation.
In addition to the construction team from the “House of Good Tones” Foundation, the project will receive support from 24 volunteers — students and teachers of vocational trades from Austria — who are training through the programs of the “Hilti” company and will stay for the next five days.
Last year, four prefabricated houses were built and equipped for guests. This year, plans include the renovation of access roads and site landscaping, while the long-term goal is for the “House of Encounters” center to become a multifunctional location and a central hub for the training and education of young people from our country and across Europe.
