25In Croatia this year, four houses were built jointly by the “House of Good Tones” Foundation and employees of the “HILTI” company, while nine houses were constructed with the support of the “Bauern helfen Bauern” Foundation from Salzburg.
Following the devastating earthquake that struck Croatia, the “House of Good Tones” Foundation made all its resources available and, together with its partners, built 126 prefabricated houses over the course of three years as direct support for people who lost their homes.
The earthquake hit Croatia on December 29, 2020, affecting the areas of Petrinja, Sisak, and Glina, where thousands of buildings were damaged, and many were rendered uninhabitable.
