Construction is underway on a total of 40 prefabricated houses in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
So far, 24 houses have been completed, and another 16 will be finished by the end of the construction season.
The “House of Good Tones” Foundation Sarajevo, with the support of its partners, is once again focusing this year on helping families in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as those who lost their homes after the earthquake that struck Croatia at the end of 2020. The aim is to improve their quality of life and social inclusion in these difficult and challenging times, while also contributing directly to the revitalization of the earthquake-affected areas.
Additionally, three more houses were built this year within the multifunctional center “House of Encounters” in Pale near Srebrenica — a joint initiative of the International Forum of Solidarity “Emmaus” and the “House of Good Tones” Foundation.
Furthermore, another multifunctional center will be built this year in the municipality of Doboj Istok, in cooperation with the local government, to serve specific groups within the community. The municipality of Doboj Istok has provided the land and all necessary construction permits and documentation.
