The “House of Encounters” center continues to expand each year, and this year three additional modernly equipped prefabricated houses were constructed.
The first phase of construction began in early May with the help of 22 vocational students and their instructors. These students are enrolled in training and practical programs organized by the “HILTI” company.
Shortly afterward, the second phase was completed, and the houses quickly welcomed their first guests — participants of the Youth School organized by the Post-Conflict Research Center — who enjoyed the hospitality and all the amenities offered by the “House of Encounters.”
The “House of Encounters” center is modernly equipped, and the houses are built in harmony with nature. The center also includes a multifunctional hall, sports fields, and a restaurant serving local food — all of which, together with the warm hospitality and untouched nature, provide a unique experience.
Two years ago, four houses were built as part of this center, and last year, a multifunctional space, conference hall, sports grounds, access roads, and landscaping and green area improvements were completed. Work continues, with many new facilities and structures planned to further enrich the center.
The “House of Encounters” is a joint project of the International Forum of Solidarity “Emmaus” and the “House of Good Tones” Foundation, aimed at bringing together young people from around the world through cultural, artistic, humanitarian, peace-building, and scientific exchange.
