The “House of Good Tones,” in partnership with organizations from Austria, Greece, and Slovakia, and with the support of the “Creative Europe” Fund, will implement the project “Songs for Europe” over the next two years. With this, the “House of Good Tones” from Srebrenica has become one of five organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina to receive support from the “Creative Europe” Fund for the implementation of cultural cooperation projects.

The Executive Director of the “House of Good Tones,” Ismar Porić, attended the official project promotion in Sarajevo and stated on the occasion that it is important for Bosnian society that Srebrenica is discussed in Europe in a completely new and positive context.

“It is extremely important to be part of a major international project and part of a team working on creating a new approach to music education, all while doing it from Srebrenica. The project involves international organizations such as El Sistema and Superar, and the entire project will be led by the director of the ‘Vienna Boys’ Choir,’ Professor Gerald Wirth. The very realization that we are entering the project as equal partners alongside such globally recognized experts and international organizations is a great honor and a confirmation of the quality of our organization’s work,” said Porić.

“Songs for Europe” is a project focused on knowledge sharing and the development of IT tools/programs that measure attention, engagement, and singing performance of students and young artists. Through the project, an online database/library will be created with pedagogically relevant repertoire and analyzed teaching sequences, which will be accessible to the public, schools, and all other organizations in the field of music education.
